Beat Your Manager! Fantasy Games Ltd, an Invent DCU client company, is one of over 600 Irish projects bidding for support from the Arthur Guinness Projects, an initiative which exists to celebrate the next chapter of Irish talent and creativity.
Beat Your Manager! is a free fantasy football app on Android, launched to coincide with the start of the 2013/2014 English Premier League season. The game is the first fantasy football league that lets players manage their favourite club and make substitutions during the live game, comparing fan choices against those of the real-life manager. The company is currently working on an iPhone version, which should launch in the coming days.
Beat Your Manager! founder (and CEO) Padraig Doolan, is a former DCU research scientist, with over 16 years’ experience at the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology.
