350.org Fossil Free Europe Tour

Live Stream Screening: Friday, 1 November 2013

The DCU Sustainability Initiative, in partnership with An Taisce, The National Trust for Ireland, is pleased to announce that it will host a screening of the 350.org Fossil Free Europe Tour event which will be live streamed from London, on Friday, 1st November 2013. The DCU screening will begin at 7.15pm (room to be confirmed) and will finish at approximately 9.45pm.

350.org is a global grassroots movement which promotes effective actions to address the urgent worldwide challenge of severe, human triggered, climate disruption. This live streamed event will feature music from Filastine, presentations by both Bill McKibben (author, and 350.org co-founder) and Kumi Naidoo (Executive Director of Greenpeace International), and other guest speakers including climate scientists, social movement leaders, campaigners, organizers and more.

This is a public event as part of DCU's contribution to facilitating dialogue on Irish national climate change policy. There is no charge for attendance, and all are welcome.
