Want to give something back?

More than 65 voluntary organisations will visit Dublin City University campus on Thursday 10th October to take part in DCU Volunteer Expo.  The event will offer DCU staff, students and members of the local community the opportunity to meet with local, national and international volunteer organisations to learn first-hand how they can make a difference through volunteering.

Organisations which will be participating on the day include:

  • Ballymun Women’s Resource Centre
  • Barretstown
  • Down Syndrome Ireland
  • Dublin Rape Crisis Centre
  • Enactus
  • Focus Ireland
  • GOAL
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice
  • St Vincent de Paul
  • Tolka Area Partnership

If you are interested in finding out how you can help give something back, come to The Hub at DCU on Thursday 10th October 2013 between 11am and 3pm.  You can meet face to face with representatives of voluntary organisations, learn from current volunteers how rewarding a life as a volunteer can be and how volunteering can equip you with valuable skills and experience for your future careers.
