1st International Age-Friendly University Conference in Asia

The AFU Coordinator was delighed to present at the 1st International Age-Friendly Conference in Asia hosted by Pai Chai University.

Prof. Rick Knopf represented Arizona State Univeristy, USA  - a member of the  AFU Global Network and Prof. Miye Lee from St. Luke's International University, Japan also took part in addition to School and Faculty members from Pai Chai University.

Wide ranging discussions on the various approaches to the age-friendly university initiative  took place with interesting presentations on student engagement, community engagement for people centered care and Five Keys to Successly Building Strong Age-Friendly Universities.

Pai Chai University is leading the AFU Initiative in South Korea and we look forward to welcoming  new Asian members  over the coming months to our growing network.
