Academic biography

Dr Lisa van der Werff is an Associate Professor in Organisational Psychology and Director of Doctoral Studies at Dublin City University Business School. Her research interests lie in the areas of trust development and workplace transitions including a focus on trust in the context of disruptive technology and digital business. Lisa is Co-Director of the Irish Institute of Digital Business. Her interdisciplinary work has been published in journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organization Science, Computers in Human Behavior and the Harvard Business Review. Lisa is currently Deputy Editor in Chief of Journal of Trust Research, sits on the editorial board of Human Relations and is the president of FINT (www.fintweb.org), an international network of trust scholars.
