Academic biography

Dr Ved Dilip Beloskar is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the DCU Business School, Dublin City University, Ireland. He holds a PhD in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India. His PhD thesis empirically examined the impact of ESG considerations on corporate financial performance and investment performance in the Indian context. In addition, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme. Prior to working at DCU Business School, he worked at NMIMS Deemed to be University, Mumbai, India.


Dr Ved teaches Financial Markets and Derivatives and Financial Statement Analysis at the DCU Business School. His research interests include sustainable finance, corporate governance and corporate finance. He has published widely in leading outlets, including the Journal of Business Research, Business Strategy and Environment and International Journal of Finance and Economics. His work on socially responsible investments has been acknowledged and awarded the Young Academic Award by the World Alliance of International Financial Centres (WAIFC) at their AGM in New York in 2023. He regularly presents his research work at global conferences, including the European Academy of Management (EURAM) annual conferences. He regularly reviews articles
