Biography:

Julie Griffin has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting from UCC (1997) and a M.Bus. in Research (2007). She is a Chartered Accountant having trained in both KPMG and in a medium firm.

Prior to joining DCU, she worked in industry in both multinational and public sector organisations in Ireland and the US.

Julie has five years’ teaching experience. She has taught on professional accountancy courses and lectured/tutored degree students in Financial and Management Accounting. She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Dundee, Scotland, under the supervision of Prof John Burns.
