Biography:

Prior to join DCU, Ruchira Sharma taught at the National University of Singapore and University of Pittsburgh, USA. She was a Visiting Scholar at Penn State University in Fall Semester 2002 and visited Hong Kong University of Science and Technology during Spring/Summer Semester 2007.

Ruchira is the Chairperson of the M.Sc. in Finance and Capital Markets programme. This programme started in 2004 and allows graduates from a variety of fields to develop their knowledge of capital markets and enhance investment and asset pricing skills. During 2004-2005 Ruchira was also the Chairperson of the Graduate Certificate in Corporate Treasury which is a programme offered in association with the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT).
