"The Nuts and Bolts of Innovation" Book Launch

"The Nuts and Bolts of Innovation" edited by Prof. David Jacobson was officially launched by Irish Minister of State for Research & Innovation: Sean Sherlock TD. The launch took place at the European Parliament offices on Molesworth Street in Dublin. Proinsias De Rossa (former TD and MEP) was MC for the launch and following a brief speech, introduced Dr. Nat O'Connor of TASC. Dr. O'Connor spoke of the process of developing and commissioning the book before introducing Minister Sean Sherlock. During his speech Minister Sherlock commented on how "...a copy of this book should be on the desk of every politician in Ireland who is involved in making policy decisions...". Finally the editor of the book Prof. David Jacobson gave a short talk illustrating how the book fits into the current economic context and should inform future directions in innovation and industrial policy. "The Nuts and Bolts of Innovation" is now available from Glasnevin Publishing, Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and as an eBook through Kindle.
