"Two DCU Business School Academics, Dr. Regina Connolly and Dr. Paul Davis have been successful with two Horizon 2020 bids totalling just under €8.5 million.

The first project IN LIFE aims to prolong and support the independent living of seniors with cognitive impairments, through interoperable, open, personalised and seamless ICT solutions that support home activities, communication, health maintenance, travel, mobility and socialisation tasks, with novel, scalable and viable business models, based on feedback from large-scale and multi-country pilot applications. The second project PATHway: Technology enabled behavioural change as a pathway towards better self-management of CVD. It was a collaboration between the School of Health and Human Performance (Kieran Moran, Catherine Woods, Niall Moyna, Noel McCaffrey), Insight (Kieran Moran, Noel O'Connor, Suzanne Little) and the Business School (Regina Connolly, Paul Davis). DCU led the application, with a consortium of 9 European partners, which also included the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Both projects bring recognition to the work being undertaken in E-Health in DCU Business School led by Dr. Connolly and Dr. Davis."
