Working in the Cloud?
The Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4) is speeding the development and adoption of cloud technologies and showcasing Ireland's capabilities in cloud computing. This is a collaborative initiative for innovation and applied research, involving DCU, UCC and AIT. Read more about our current research, completed projects and how to go about suggesting a new project.
Running a Family Business?
The DCU Centre for Family Business is the first national hub for research, expert advice and best practice for managing and sustaining family businesses in Ireland. Family businesses account for 75% of all Irish firms, more than 50% of GDP and 50% of all employment. They face unique challenges, not least survival to second and third generations, but also unique opportunities they can grasp with expert support. At DCU, we advise on best practice in issues such as management, governance, and succession. We also provide support through education and training, learning from others, and problem-solving e.g. in market development.
