Ian Bell is the manager of the Software team which is dedicated to enabling the DCU community. The team is responsible for the digital experience of students and staff using DCU provided software.

Team Responsibilities:

Computer Operating Systems: Install, configure and secure the operating systems (Window and Macintosh) on DCU trusted laptops/desktops.
Software Application Portal: Standardised and fully tested applications available for safe deployment to your laptops and desktops.
Non Standard Software Application Approval: Approve the secure installation of non standard software on DCU trusted laptops/desktops.
Student Computer Lab Software: Gather ongoing teaching software requirements for installation and maintenance in Lab environments.
Unified Communication: Management of our online video meetings and phone solutions though the zoom application.
