DCU academics Dr Derek Hand and Professor Gary Murphy are among the line-up for the upcoming Howth Literary Arts Festival taking place at Howth Castle from June 9th to June 11th. Professor Gary Murphy of the School of Law and Government will be in conversation with Irish Times Foreign Affairs Correspondent Ruadhán MacCormaic, author of the Supreme Court, a ground-breaking book about the Supreme Court since the foundation of the State, on Saturday ( June 10th) at 4.00pm. On Sunday afternoon, also at 4.00pm, Dr Derek Hand, Head of the School of English at Dublin City University will be in conversation with award winning author Claire Keegan. The three day literary arts festival includes contributions from poets, writers, singers and artists as well as workshops and in depth interviews.
