Acabella and Friends - music for the soul
As part of the ANAM 2019 festival, DCU is proud to be supporting two important events taking place on Monday 1st April, both of which are in aid of St. Francis Hospice, honouring 30 years of care in the North Dublin Community.
Acabella and Friends is a night of music and entertainment led by the five-part harmony group which includes DCU’s Yvonne Crotty, will perform ‘music for the soul’. Expect an eclectic mix of songs ranging from tratiional Irish and contemporary folk, to gospel and jazz.
Also featuring: DCU Access pop-up choir, Ciaran Coll, Shola, Richie Buckley, Seamus, Margaret & Ally, Deirdre Ní Chinnéide, Fergal O Murchu, James Blennerhassett, Danny Byrt, Rod Quinn and Richie Delahunty.
Supporting this event will be the DCU Access Schools Pop-up Choir, which is made up of 60 students from nine different local access schools
