Brexit and Data Protection: DCU Brexit Institute Event

On Thursday 17th October, the DCU Brexit Institute will host an important event to discuss Brexit and Data Protection at Talent Garden, DCU Alpha. 

It will feature an opening address from Helen Dixon, Irish Data Protection Commissioner; and a closing speech from Peter Hustinx, first European Data Protection Supervisor. 

There will also be a panel discussion on the topic, moderated by Susan Daly, Editor of TheJournal.ie. Panellists will include:

• Tuomas Ojanen, Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Helsinki

• John Quinn, Professor of Law, DCU

• Colin Rooney, Partner, Arthur Cox

This event marks the launch of DCU’s new MA in Data Protection and Privacy.
