EAN conference 2014

The 23rd EAN annual conference will be held from the 2nd-4th of June 2014 at the University of Edinburgh. Professor Maria Slowey will be one of the speakers at this event.

The title of the conference is "Hidden Potential or Hollow Promise?: Can Technologies Deliver Wider Access and Success in Higher Education?"

It will address the changing nature of Higher Education through the development and application of new technologies. Achieving wider access and success is a key concern; do these changes help or hinder those efforts? Can innovation accelerate progress, or will it have no effect or even worse, negative impacts?

Call for proposals:

Submissions focusing on the impact of new technologies are sought in the following areas: 1. Higher education provision and delivery 2. Outreach and recruitment 3. Student support 4. Teaching, learning and assessment 5. Policies to support effective change
