Racism, Anti-Racism and Forced Displacement Conference at DCU

The conference will be held on Dublin City University's Glasnevin campus on Thursday 7 March and Friday 8 March 2024.

The DCU School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies, in partnership with the Irish Refugee Integration Network (IRIN), is hosting a conference on Racism, Anti-Racism and Forced Displacement: Old and New perspectives. This conference seeks to discuss racism, anti-racism and forced displacement in Ireland and beyond into comparative contexts.

The conference will be held across two days, Thursday 7 March and Friday 8 March, in The Helix on Dublin City University's Glasnevin Campus.

The conference will include a number of speakers, as well as parallel breakout sessions, covering a wide range of topics including 'Solidarity in Action: Navigating Activism and Discrimination in Diverse Contexts', 'Trauma, Health and Support in the Journey of Forced Displacement' and 'Pathways to Inclusion: Transforming Primary Level Education'.
