Academic biography

Vuong M. Ngo received the B.E, M.E and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from HCMC University of Technology in 2004, 2007 and 2013 respectively. In addition, he completed the postdoctoral program in information retrieval at the University of Bozen/Bolzano from 2014 to 2015. Currently, since Oct 2023, he has been a senior researcher in Data Science at the School of Computing, DCU. Previously, Dr. Vuong held various positions, including CIO, Vice-Dean and Head of Department in information technology at Vietnam Universities from 2007 to 2017. From 2017 to 2023, he worked as a researcher in Data Science  and Information Retrieval at UCD, TCD and TUD. His research interests include data warehouse, information retrieval, graph matching, sentiment analysis, data mining and machine learning.
