Information for Indian Students

Reknowned for friendliness, Ireland is a safe English speaking country and we offer the warmest of welcomes to students from all over the world.

Dublin City University (DCU) is Ireland's University of Enterprise. It is a young and vibrant university, and is ranked as Ireland’s only Top 50 Under 50 university.

With a student population of almost 11,500, DCU has close to 2,000 non-Irish students from 115 countries.

In 2011/2012, over 60 Indian students are registered on undergraduate and postgraduate taught and research programmes.

The DCU International Office recruits and supports international students.  Staff regularly visit Indian institutes of higher education, schools and recruitment fairs. The International Office team provides information on admissions procedures and fees, as well as living and working in Dublin.

Staff assist international students in the transition from their home country. They provide information that will help students understand their new environment and explain important aspects of the academic, professional, social and personal norms in Ireland.

The International Office works in conjunction with other units in the University - Student Support & Development, Faculties, Schools - to ensure that each student's time at DCU is an enjoyable and enriching experience.
