Life Sciences Café
LSI Café is the Institute’s weekly invitation to network, chat and hear about exciting Life Science research and technologies. It’s an informal gathering open to all University researchers as well as guests from our partners and prospective collaborators. Drop in and join us for a chat in our relaxing space.
We’ve had lots of fascinating conversations at the Café so far including Dr. Janosch Heller telling us about his exciting research in Neuroscience to Dr. Fiona O’Neill describing her translational cancer research to ERC Awardee Dr Sean Jordan describing his Origins of Life project.
We also love our technology; Dr Creina Slator gave us a run through the amazing AUTOPILOT (Automated Robotic Cell Culture Suite) system and Dr. Barry Moran from Trinity College chatted to us about flow cytometry.
If you have an idea, project or technology that you’d like to pitch at the LSI Café please email us at lsi@dcu.ie or simply come along on any Tuesday.
When: Every Tuesday at 10am
