DCU wins at the Inaugural Smarter Travel Awards

DCU has been announced as ‘Walking Campus of the Year’ at the Inaugural Smarter Travel Awards. The Smarter Travel Workplaces and Smarter Travel Campus programme aims to recognise and celebrate the efforts that workplaces and campuses make to promote sustainable travel. Awards were presented in 14 categories across different modes of transport, sustainable champions and overall workplace and campus.

Creative students from Smarter Travel Campus Partners were also invited to take part in the inaugural poster competition to promote sustainable travel and we are delighted to announce that two DCU Multimedia students, Cian Hogan and Sinead Reilly, took first and second place respectively.
