Futurist Peter Cochrane to speak at Campaign Launch
On Wednesday 21st October, internationally acclaimed futurist, Dr Peter Cochrane, will deliver the keynote speech at the launch of the Campaign for DCU, a major initiative to transform the educational experience of our students and to use our knowledge and expertise to address the economic and social challenges of the 21st century.
Dr Cochrane is a futurist, entrepreneur, business and engineering advisor to international industries and governments, who is known for his expertise and innovative thinking on how technology can respond to the greatest challenges facing us within the coming years. At the launch event, he will discuss his thinking within the context of DCU’s ambitions to transform lives and societies through its new campaign.
The launch of the Campaign for DCU is a historic milestone for the University. Professor Brian MacCraith, President of DCU, will unveil the cutting-edge initiatives within the Campaign, designed to influence the future of education, healthcare and business. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the launch of the new campaign video and to meet the project leaders who are driving forward DCU’s innovative solutions to the world’s greatest challenges.
