The School of Computing, will host their Final Year Projects Expo 2010 on Thursday 27 May 2010

For over 20 years the School of Computing, DCU have run an event to promote and celebrate their final year graduates on the BSc in Computer Applications course.  This year is no different! The school will celebrate on Thursday morning 27th May in the Helix with a champagne breakfast and proceedings will be opened by guest speaker Mr. Padraig Keon from 'Ireland Your Country Your Call'. 

The event provides an excellent opportunity for IT professionals and potential employers to view the high standard and broad range of development work carried out by the graduating students.  Representatives attending the event range from well recognised companies such as Google Ireland, Amazon, IBM, AIB, Accenture etc. Afterwards, everyone is invited over to the School to view open demonstrations of the various projects.  Students cover a wide spectrum of application areas including location-based services, iphone/android development, distributed systems and gaming which showcases their skills with a variety of languages such as Java C/C++, Python and Ruby. .  It is a wonderful opportunity for students to promote their talent and hard work and an opportunity for employers to spot the talent.
