Professor Brian O'Kelly gave his Inaugural Lecture in DCU Business School on Wednesday evening, 27 February 2008.

The lecture, entitled "Lessons from the Credit Crisis", examined the current difficulties in the credit markets and the causes thereof. It suggested how market practice needs to change to ensure that similar difficulties can be avoided in the future. It also explored how academia needs to change the focus of its teaching better to address the educational needs of the market.
