Alternatives, finalists for the Ernst & Young 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Alternatives, a Marketing company established by two DCU graduates, Aldagh Mc Donogh and Sandra Lawler, has been shortlisted for the Ernst & Young 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award. They are graduates of the first BA in International Marketing Languages. Aldagh served on the DCUBS Board of Advisors in the late 1990s.

Alternatives was established in 2000 to meet the growing demand for flexible marketing expertise on a employer/employee needs basis. The company has evolved, not only into an excellent resource for accessing marketing talent in Ireland, but also provides in-house company marketing training. In addition, Alternatives are the sponsors of the 2006 Marketer of the Year.

Sandra Lawler said “We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as Finalists in the "Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards 2006".

Alternatives featured on RTE at 11pm on 7 September 2006. It was the first programme of a 3 part series will profile 8 of the 24 finalists.
