Alain Pompido at DCU - Ethics for Scientists

Alain Pompidou, President of COMEST (UNESCO) and President of the National Academy of technologies of France, will give a talk at DCU on Thursday at 11am on ethics for scientists.
He will say, inter alia, that ethics should be foremost in the minds of scientists when they are carrying out research into genetic engineering, cloning, etc. A comprehensive and properly balanced policy needs to be drawn up which is shared by all stakeholders for the socio-economical benefit of the different populations and countries all over our planet.
