Mason Hayes+Curran Green Business Plan competition launched for DCU students

Declan Moylan, Chairman of leading law firm Mason Hayes+Curran  recently launched the Green Business Plan Competition for DCU students.

The competition, run in conjunction with DCU’s Enterprise Society, will give students the platform to present their ideas to professionals from the world of business and investment – interested in new green initiatives

Open to new innovative independent ventures in seed and start-up growth stage, all participants need to demonstrate the environmentally friendly aspects of their idea. First prize is € 2,000, second prize is € 1,000 with certificates being given to all 5 semi-finalists.

Deadline for submission of entry forms is March 1st with the final awards being announced on April 19th.  The competition is open to DCU students, post doctoral researchers and research assistants looking to get their new business idea off the ground.
