Feature Length Student Film Travels Stateside

'Six Semesters', Ireland's first ever feature length student film, has been selected to screen in three festivals in the United States over the coming months. This follows successful screenings at the Galway Film Fleadh, the CCIIFF in France and the Clones Film Festival. The film, which was entirely produced by Dublin City University students in 2007-2008, is a romantic comedy about a student who breaks up couples for a living.
As part of the New Filmmakers Series, 'Six Semesters' will screen in Anthology Film Archives, 2nd Avenue, NYC, at 8.30pm on St. Patrick?s Day, March 17th. The cost of admission is $6. Information can be found on www.anthologyfilmarchives.org/schedule/search/film/?id=9801
The film will also be screened on March 20th as part of the San Luis Obispo Film Festival will screen in the Palm Theater, San Luis Obispo, California at 4pm. The cost of admission is $9. Information can be found on www.slofilmfest.org/2010/f-world.shtml
Finally, Six Semesters will also screen as part of the 2010 Buffalo
Niagara Film Festival (April 16-25). Date, venue and price have yet to
