DCU Students selected for World Universities Cross Country Championships

Finglas for Diversity is a multi-agency group, based in Finglas, which works to highlight the benefits of a diverse and inclusive community.

6 DCU students have been selected to compete in the World Universities Cross Country Championships to be held in Alger, Algeria on March 24th 2006.

Linda Byrne (2nd year Sports Science & Health), Azmera Gebrezgi (1st year Accounting & Finance), Ian Chaney (3rd year Biotechnology), Eoin Higgins (3rd year Computer Applications ,  Aidan Bailey (MBS Accounting), and Fionnuala Britton (3rd year Sports Science & Health) will be competing for World University titles this weekend.

The selection process was based on the first three finishers in the Irish universities championship on the 4th of March 2006 and the AAI and NIAF Cross Country Championships.
