DCU's Ryan Academy to host TIDA Entrepreneur Training Course

The Ryan Academy for Enterpreneurship will host the 2012 TIDA Entrepreneur Training Course, organised by SFI for postdoctoral researchers involved in active SFI-funded research projects.
The course will take place at the Ryan Academy's Citywest campus in Dublin on the following dates in 2012:
Friday 27 Jan
Saturday 28 Jan
Friday 24 February
Saturday 25 February
Friday 23 March
Saturday 24 March
Friday 20 April
The objectives of the course are:
- To provide entrepreneurship skills to postdoctoral researchers in active SFI funded research labs
- To provide the skills necessary for SFI funded postdoctoral researchers to assess the market for potential research opportunities
- To create a culture of innovation within SFI funded research groups
- To create a network of researchers with business acumen who will interact regularly with each other, with SFI, Enterprise Ireland and the Technology Transfer Offices
- To allow post-doctoral researchers to develop a commercial case around a technology
