DCU President interviewed on RTE’s Morning Ireland on potential funding cuts

President Ferdinand von Prondzynski has called for dialogue with the Higher Education Authority to discuss potential cuts in funding if targets for students from deprived backgrounds are not met.

He said that while DCU has a highly successful Access programme, the university depends on support not just from the HEA but also from private donations, to make the programme effective.

President von Prondzynski also spoke on Today FM's 'The Last Word' programme in relation to the potential re-introduction of third-level fees.
