DCU graduate publishes LA Commandments

DCU graduate Gillian Duffy has published her first novel, the LA Commandments. Gillian graduated from DCU in 2003 with a BA in Business Studies and for the next six-and-a-half years worked as an operations/logistics manager in the Dublin office of an International facilities management company. Having been made redundant, Gillian decided to pursue her passion for writing and went back to third level education to study English Literature in St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra, a college of DCU.

Gillian was inspired to begin writing her novels after a trip to Los Angeles in 2008, and hasn't looked back since.

The LA Commandments, her debut novel, was published in August and her second novel will be published by Book Republic next May. Gillian currently lives in Dublin.
