International Rules - DCU students and graduates selected

International Rules

DCU's Michael Murphy has been selected to play in the forthcoming International Rules series due to take place in Australia. Michael, who captains the Donegal county team, is a third-year student on the BSc in Physical Education and Biology.

The matches are scheduled to take place on 28 October in Melbourne and on 4 November in Brisbane on the Gold Coast.

Paul Flynn, also a student on the BSc in Physical Education and Biology, was selected to play but unfortunately is unable to travel due to injury.

Graduates Stephen Cluxton (Dublin) and Kevin Reilly (Meath) have also been selected, with Stephen captaining the team.

DCU Director of the GAA Academy, Michael Kennedy, will travel to Australia is part of the management team.
