Open Evening for Part-time BSc in Education & Training

The School of Education Studies is hosting an Open Evening on Wednesday 14 April in the DCU Business School (Room QG22) from 6pm to 8pm.
The BSc in Education and Training is designed for those working in the public or private sector in the field of education, training and/or human resources. This degree blends theory and practice to prepare trainers to be reflective practitioners who work with learners and workers in education, business, and training environments. Previous students have worked in Further Education Colleges, VECs, Youthreach, Traveller Education Centres, Area Partnerships and Employment Services. Additionally a significant proportion of past and current students work in the private sector in training in areas such as banking, retail, catering, travel and security services.
This well established, innovative programme can support your continuing professional development by providing you with the knowledge and skills to enhance your professionalism and help you gain a recognised qualification. For 15 years DCUs degree in Education & Training has provided the training sector with highly skilled, reflective and creative trainers and teachers.
To apply for the B.Sc. in Education and Training, you must meet the University¹s minimum entry requirements of at least two years appropriate training/education experience and a current position in education/training. All applicants must attend an interview.
Current and former students of the school’s programmes, as well as lecturers, will be in attendance on the evening to discuss course structure, content and delivery with prospective students.
