Final year undergraduate students celebrated the completion of their dissertations for the BA in Contemporary Culture and Society on the 14 May.  They asked the Academic Coordinator, Dr Vera Sheridan, to attend an impromptu ‘party’ where she was presented with a bouquet of flowers by CCS students and Dr Ciaran Dunne with a bottle of champagne.  This celebration is a unique moment in the short history of this innovative Faculty degree which began with its first intake just three years ago.  Following celebrations students have a variety of plans ranging from postgraduate study to taking a year out and travelling or working from Australia to South America.  Others have internships or are making plans to work abroad.
