“Have a Go” – Adapted Physical Activity at DCU Sport

DCU Sport, in conjunction with the Disability Service is launching their “Have a Go” Adapted Physical Activity programme on March 1st. This ten-week programme is designed for students with physical or sensory disabilities from Universities, Colleges and Institutes across Dublin.
The aim of the programme is to promote physical activity and enjoyment while providing a social outlet across third level students in Dublin. Each week a different sport will be offered, as a taster session, led by fitness instructors, athletes and professional coaches. Activities on this programme range from archery to water polo and from boxercise to rock-climbing.
Students can pay per session to allow flexibility or they can pay up front for the ten weeks and receive a discounted rate.
For those who wish to continue participation in a particular sport contact details for the relevant clubs and associations will be available at the end of each session.
