Three DCU Sigerson Cup winners named on GPA Football Team of the Year

The Gaelic Players Association announced the official Opel Gaelic Team of the Year for Football for 2006.

Three of DCU’s 2006 Sigerson Cup winning players were named on the team. They were Dublin’s Bryan Cullen and Stephen Cluxton and Mayo’s Conor Mortimer.

The team reflects the most successful counties in this year’s championship, with 15 players hailing from six different counties- Kerry, Dublin, Mayo, Armagh, Cork and Fermanagh.
