DCU signs MOU with leading Indian Institute of Higher Education

On Tuesday 14 September 2010 DCU President, Prof. Brian MacCraith and Professor M S Ananth, Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support research and education collaborations between the two institutions.

DCU was also delighted to welcome the Indian Ambassador Mr P S Raghavan and Mr D Ramamoorthy of the Indian Embassy who attended the official signing ceremony in the Albert College. Prof. MacCraith will visit IIT Madras in December as part of a wider schedule of visits to academic and corporate partners in India.

The signing of the MOU with IIT Madras represents a further important strategic step for DCU towards its goal of building strong, long term collaborations with recognised centres of research and education excellence in India.
