Media invitation - "What's so smart about Ireland's smart economy"?

You are invited to attend this discussion which has been organised by 'Innovation Dublin 2009'.

Some of the issues and questions that will be raised include: "If a society is not just an economy, how does the 'smart economy' relate to the rest of society?" "Do we need to fundamentally rethink our approach to the teaching of critical thinking and the arts in our schools to create the basis for a genuine 'smart economy'?"

Professor Michael Cronin, Dublin City University, will chair the above discussion. The panel is as follows:
