We would like to invite you to the official opening of DCU's Biodiagnostics Institute (BDI), byMinister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Conor Lenihan, TD. The BDI is Ireland's leading sensor and biodiagnostics facility and is an SFI CSET (Centre for Science, > Engineering and Technology) that carries out cutting-edge research focused on next-generation biomedical diagnostic devices.

The SFI are due to make a major announcement regarding funding for Phase 2 research, which includes major developments in the early diagnosis of meningitis.
