Images from Science: an exhibition of scientific photograph

The School of Communications invites you to view Images from Science, an international exhibition of photography on scientific topics. The exhibition will be on display in the Henry Grattan Building (room C167), 7-18 November (9am-3.30pm), to mark Science Week Ireland.
This exhibition was curated by the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology, USA, and has been seen in many cities in the United States, and in Sweden and Spain, but not previously in Ireland.
The exhibition features the work of leading photographers from around the world, and includes a piece by Karl Grimes, of the School of Communications. It offers surprising, complex and beautiful views of the microscopic and the cosmic worlds. It was selected from 290 pictures submitted by 87 photographers from 14 countries.

The School of Communications acknowledges the financial support of the BA Festival of Science, the collegial support of Professor Michael Peres of RIT, and the contribution of Karl Grimes and David O'Callaghan in hanging the exhibition.
