Seven DCU grads and students to play in International Rules Series

Seven members of the panel announced yesterday for this year's International rules series have DCU connections - four players are DCU graduates and three are current students at DCU. They will be part of the Irish squad to play Australia for this year's Cormac McAnallen Trophy.  The announcement was made yesterday by Ireland manager Anthony Tohill at Croke Park.

Two current students, Michael Murphy and Colm Begley have been named as full members of the squad, and Eamonn Fennell will be on standby.  Michael is a second year student on the BSc in Physical Education, Colm is in year 1 of the BSc in Sport Science and Health degree, and Eamonn is in year one of the BSc in Education and Training.

The four DCU graduates who have been named as Bernard Brogan, Stephen Cluxton, Paddy Keenan and Kevin Reilly.
