DCU Student wins The Marketing Network Marketing Student of the Year Award

MSc in Business Management student Elisabeth Kotzian, now a graduate of DCU Business School, is the winner of the Marketing Network Marketing Student of the Year.

Elisabeth was awarded flights for two to New York and a three month internship with ‘The Marketing Network’. According to The Marketing Network there was a great response to this competition from students throughout the country. Four students were short-listed, two from UCD, one from DIT and one from DCU.

Elisabeth presented the winning paper on The Development of Premium Brands to four judges at the Marketing Network offices in Earlsfort Terrace. The four judges of this competition were: Stephen Kent, Brands Director, Bulmers Ltd, Loretta Dignam, Marketing Manager Convenience, Kerry Foods, Paul Walsh, Commercial Dirctor, Barclays General Insurance, Maeve Guthrie, Marketing Manager, Walkers Snack Foods.

The winner was announced at the Awards luncheon which was held in Bang Restaurant on Baggot St. Elisabeth was accompanied there by Paul Davis, chair of the MSc in Business Management, Dr. Anne Sinnott, Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning and Joanne Lynch, her Marketing lecturer.
