Power Trust and Ethics Conference at DCU

The impact of the Internet, children's experiences of television and the role of the press in the peace process will be among the topics to be explored at the first all-Ireland media research conference at DCU on 17 June 2005. Power, Trust and Ethics will be co-hosted by the School of Communications, DCU, with School of Media, Dublin Institute of Technology.

The conference will hear research presentations by academic staff and postgraduate students from DCU, DIT, University of Limerick, University of Ulster, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin Business School, St Patrick's College and Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology.

The keynote address will be given by Professor James Curran, Goldsmiths College, London.

The conference is open to all - to register, send details to mary.nulty@dcu.ie The delegate fee is €60 (students, €25).
