Congratulations to DCU graduate, Lorraine Twohill - Google Brand Genius

Dublin City University is delighted to congratulate DCU graduate and VP of Global Marketing for Google, Lorraine Twohill, on being named 'Grand Brand Genius' by Adweek.
Lorraine holds a joint honours degree in International Marketing and Languages from Dublin City University.
With 18 years experience in marketing, Lorraine joined Google in 2003 and is responsible for the company's marketing efforts globally. Previously, she built and led all of Google's regional marketing teams and activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Her marketing programs focus on the go-to-market strategy and adoption of all of Google's products, from consumer offerings to business services. Previously, she led all of Google's regional marketing activities and teams in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Before joining Google, she was head of marketing for Opodo, the European travel portal created by nine of Europe's leading airlines. She led the launch of the company across Europe, bringing it to a top 3 position in all launch markets within 2 years.
U.S. publication Advertising Age has recognized Lorraine on the "Top 40 Under 40" Global Marketing list. She has also been cited in the Power 100 list by U.K. magazine Marketing for the past 3 years running.
Professor Brian MacCraith, DCU President, stated; "We are delighted with Lorraine's success and I wish to congratulate her on this accolade from Adweek. Although a young university we are now seeing our graduates rising to key areas all over the world and Lorraine is an excellent example of the proactive and creative nature of our graduates.
