Pat Cox, former President of the European Parliament, chairs seminar in DCU

The Centre for International Studies in DCU hosted with one of the most significant international think-tanks on conflict related issues - the International Crisis Group. The seminar, which was on the Balkans and the Caucasus, was chaired by Pat Cox, former President of the European Parliament.

Nicholas Whyte and James Lyon from the International Crisis Group made presentations and the participants included former Taoiseach Dr Garret FitzGerald, Irish and international diplomats, officers in the Defence Forces, staff from Irish NGOs, academics and graduate students.
