DCU is the first university to acknowledge athletic dedication and sporting talent in addition to academic excellence. In 2005 we introduced an admission policy recognising excellence in sporting achievement as an entry route to our degree programmes.

The DCU Sports Academy is fast becoming home to Ireland’s upcoming sports stars in Gaelic Football, Athletics and Tennis by offering essential professional training and state-of-the-art facilities, along with the educational qualification that will provide athletes with essential career options when their sports careers have ended.

If you want to play a part in supporting the DCU Sports Academy and help the development of the nation’s sporting talent we invite you to enter a fundraising draw. Grand Prize is a Volvo C30 sponsored by Volvo Car Ireland, 2nd Prize is a week in Portugal, 3rd prize is a weekend stay in the Slieve Russell Hotel and 4th and 5th Prizes are a pair of tickets to the 2007 All Ireland Final.

Prize Draw Ceremony will be held on Thursday April 26th at 11am in Albert College, DCU.
