DCU Nuring Fair, Wednesday 16th November, 2-5pm

The good news is the first ever DCU Nursing Fair will be taking place in the School of Nursing and Human Sciences on Wednesday 16th November, 2-5pm. This is a joint initiative between DCU Careers Service and DCU School of Nursing and Human Sciences. The event will provide many opportunities for students and graduates to meet with leading partner employers. Information will be available about opportunities available, skills needs, advice on applications, assessments and interviews. Throughout the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to learn about employment growth areas within their specific sectors and attend seminars facilitated by leading experts on CVs/Interviews and the Nursing Profession.

Event Details
The event will open @ 2.00pm in the School of Nursing and Human Sciences

Seminars will run as follows:
2-3PM Registering as a Nurse with An Bord Altranais
3-4PM Successful Applications/Interview
2-4PM CV Clinic

Employer, Academic & Student Partnerships
We are expecting to have leading employers present on the day and hope to attract many DCU Student Nurses and Alumni. They will have an opportunity to meet in an informal setting in the School of Nursing and Human Sciences and hear everything they need to know about sector specific information. Hopefully as a result of DCU Nursing Fair new additional partnerships will be formed between DCU students, alumni and employers.
