DCU Launches Exclusive Benefit Card for Alumni

Today Fm Presenter Matt Cooper today launched DCU’s new Alumni Benefit Card for its 29,000 strong Alumni Association.

DCU is the first university to offer a benefit card to alumni, which offers 1000’s of discounts across a whole range of products and services.

This card is exclusive to DCU Alumni and acknowledges graduates for contributing to DCU as a student and now as a graduate.

DCU graduate Matt Cooper said "I'm delighted to be back in DCU to launch the Alumni Benefit Card. It's really an interesting idea to have thousands of discounts on items and services available to DCU alumni across Ireland and Britain. I know that I'm really interested in availing of some of the great family activities and holiday discounts that are included."

The DCU Alumni Association fundamentally exists to bring every graduate closer to the DCU community as well as to campus life through Class Reunions, Seminars, Networking Events, Affinity Programmes, Circulars, DCU Times and much more. By investing time and energy into the DCU Alumni Association, these activities open doors to new experiences and new friends.

The DCU Alumni Benefit Card is welcomed at over 1,000 outlets all over Ireland and the UK. Once signed up with the card, alumni will receive an up to date directory and online newsletter about the shops, restaurants and services that offer DCU Alumni discounts.

The first 2000 cards will be distributed FREE to launch the event. Prices after this date will be €30.00 for a 3-year card.The €30.00 fee covers administration costs and a personalised embossed 3-year card from date of purchase. It entitles alumni to 6 annual E-Newsletters with special discounts and access to DCU Alumni Benefit Card website.
