Graduates gather for the London Christmas Party

(l-r) Marc Frenette, Neil Coleman, graduate of Sport Science and Health and Paul Lenehan, London Branch committee member

The London Alumni Branch hosted a Christmas gathering for DCU graduates on 9 December. Graduates present ranged from those who graduated in the 1980s to those who just graduated this November. There was a great atmosphere as graduates chatted and enjoyed drinks, nibbles and a spot of seasonal celebration. There was also overwhelming support for the continued development of the London Branch. Plans for 2005 are to focus on five key events over the year. Two will be DCU supported speaker events with a business/networking focus, while the other three will be socially orientated, along the lines of the recent successful rugby outing and Christmas party. It is aimed that the first major event will take place in March or April and information will follow soon. In the meanwhile all graduates in the London area are welcome to attend an inter-alumni event organised by the University of Ulster in the Porterhouse, Covent Garden on 13 January 2005. Please email Rachel.Swift@faber.co.uk or alumni@dcu.ie for more information. Suggestions from graduates for events are very welcome - again please email Rachel.
